Cigarbox: A smokin' fast personal photostream. I have 40k images in it and counting. Slowly improving the code and adding features.
MachDB: cataloging the machines so you don't have to. This is fully inactive but I do have plans to re-architect it a bit so I keep it around in the back of my brain somewhere, eating at me.
3D Printing and CAD - this is a whole thing. I don't really care to create desk ornaments and plastic trash, but instead things that are actually useful. I've been sharpening my CAD skills with OpenSCAD
Photography: I'm into the art and the science; I get into long exposure, time lapse, and astrophotography. I try to understand the mysteries of the photon. I take a lot of photos of my kids and family too.
Restoring an old Land Cruiser. Hand me the metric hammer!
Motorcycles: BMW, Ducati, Honda, BSA are my favs. I love to go on longer rides/adventures, but haven't had the time in recent years. I recently got a wicked fast electric motorcycle and I love it!
Motorsports: I like rotary engines, old race cars, and old trucks.
Transforming my garage loft into an office apartment. Skylights, insulation, walls, bathroom. Lots of power tools involved, only a few debilitating injuries. The permits are worse than the injuries. Ouch.
Playing the bass guitar. I suck, but it's fun.
Woodworking. More like woodhacking.
Astronomy - an old love. The 2017 Solar Eclipse was inspiring and has me studying the sun daily. I'm now building a automated observatory and working to help combat light pollution in Nashville.
Ham Radio - my earliest real hobby (aside from computers)
